Basically, and there is a very basic premise behind this shop, Fancy That (of London yeah?!) is a huge souvenir shop outside the British Musuem, obviously not an official musuem shop, but Hey! it’s trying to be…
So, Sherlock Holmes stuff, standard British things — teddies, tea, shortbread, candy, dolls, etc. Touch of Diana memorabilia. Also those awful garish ‘London’ bags. I won’t be buying any of this. They also sell weird stuff like, a huge immitation Tutankhamun statue and replica terracota army set. Top of everyone’s Christmas list…
Very chintzy atmosphere — classical music playing in the background, can U visualise it?
