History

Established in 2000.

Barley Massey discovered Broadway Market through the ‘Hidden Art of Hackney’ in the mid 90’s. At that time many of the shops were empty and had got into a bad state of disrepair. The council were encouraging small business and creative people to take on the empty shops and re energise them, which Barley did!

After a great deal of building works, creative re use and skill swaps, Fabrications opened it’s doors in June 2000 and continues to grow today from strength to strength!
