Ender Legard produces tailored, corsetry-​based shapewear solutions for the luxury bridal, evening-​wear, special occasion and celebrity red carpet markets.

Ender Legard’s range of underwear lingerie corsets and bodices offer women a corsetry-​based solution to common problems like dress slippage, poor bust support when wearing low front/​backless dresses. This range of lingerie corsets and bodices has since become my design signature — lightweight, luxurious silk-​based corsets and bodices based on 40’s and 50’s movie star glamour which offer unparalleled comfort and support.

History

Established in 2004.

In 2004 Ender Legard debuted a Limited Edition collection of corsetry at a bridal exhibition in London which was spotted by fashion guru, Mrs B (Joan Burstein) of Browns. That ‘chance meeting’ proved to be pivotal in helping designer Asia Smaga establish her outerwear corsetry collection on the market.

Within 2 years this had expanded to a new range of underwear lingerie corsets and bodices to offer women a corsetry-​based solution to common problems like dress slippage, poor bust support when wearing low front/​backless dresses. This range of lingerie corsets and bodices has since become my design signature — lightweight, luxurious silk-​based corsets and bodices based on 40’s and 50’s movie star glamour which offer unparalleled comfort and support.

Business Owner

After a spell working for UK designer Tomasz Starzewski — where Ms Smaga tailored for Prime Ministers, celebrities and the occasional Saudi Royal — she joined Academy Costumes in London working on costumes for Hollywood blockbusters like Tomb Raider with Angelina Jolie, Batman Begins, Kingdom Of Heaven, Four Feathers and a number of smaller independent films and theatre productions.

In 2004 she debuted a Limited Edition collection of corsetry at a bridal exhibition in London which was spotted by fashion guru, Mrs B (Joan Burstein) of Browns, and Ender Legard Ltd was founded.
