Specialties
Émigré Studios is a semi-secret complex of inspiring and affordable spaces, dedicated to the arts and ‘good works’ in Hackney, East London.
A row of modernised Victorian industrial arches open onto an internal street across from an innovative new green building which wraps around London Fields.
Members of the Émigré community in London Fields range from the media, music, design, fashion, art, film and architecture to social organisations working with the environment, kids and the community.
Launched in September 2011, plans for London Fields in the coming year include the opening of a collective design space, café, gallery, weekend market and a rolling programme of events including pop-up studios in a host of other locations around the world.
