The best DIY/​hardware store in south London. Whatever you need they have it, if not they can get it for you if not they can tell you where you can get it from.
I have frequented this shop for over ten years, buying small items such as washers, screws bolts having keys cut to getting insulation, and buying bigger items such as ladders and guttering. My list is longer than that but the point is whatever you are doing around your house you can get the parts you need here.
The staff are friendly and very very knowledgable, I’ve not yet asked them a question that one of them could not help me find the answer to.
The range of services they offer is vast from cutting your keys to delivering larger heavier goods, they can also recommend good local trades men.
The prices of goods is competitive and the service much more personal than the large DIY stores you find around the place.
The store is so large they have a dedicated area to general household goods i.e. dustbins pots pans, clothes lines etc.
So if you are in need of DIY items and you are not taking yourself a million miles out of your way Emertons’ is well worth a visit.
