Elite Peri Peri

Dirty cheap peri peri chicken quite tasty, used often both takeaway and delivery, they are only let down by the service because they often forget thinks or make mistakes, other than that good value and food

Fast delivery, friendly motorbike driver, and food was hot and absolutely delicious too. Definitely ordering again.

First off, let me start off by saying that apparently «Chicken» is a food category on
, but not so much on Unilocal.I reckon this must be a pretty new walk-​in/​take out/​delivery fast food joint because not only is it not on Unilocal,I can’t seem to locate its existence on Google Maps Street view. Well the fact that they have a website makes me feel better about the possibility of having eaten phantom chicken — but that might be another type of mental problem altogether.
Anyway, if you check out the Just Eat delivery website, this place has some great, if not amazing, reviews for the fried chicken. I was actually more intrigued by their peri peri chicken at first, but the reviews made me order a giant mix of various types of chicken just so i can verify what really is the best.
Ladies and gentleman, as my boyfriend would say, the fried chicken here is «THE BOMB.» Unfortunately there is no restaurant category on Unilocal that allows for «Bomb Fried Chicken», as previously implied, so I’ll have to deal with adding Chicken wings for the category.
I over-​ordered, unbeknownst at the time by my unsuspecting boyfriend:
— 2 pieces of fried chicken (about a quarter chicken in size each)
— 4 pieces of chicken wings (turned out to be fried and no wings, just the drum)
— 4 pieces of peri peri chicken strip (medium — small pieces and dry)
— half of a peri peri chicken (two quarter chicken, hot!!!)
The chicken wings were my favourite even though there were only drumsticks (I actually like the wings). The giant pieces of fried chicken were both white meat but fried crispy and juicy inside. Done perfectly. The peri peri chicken were kinda dry and not that flavourful inside — I would say Nando’s beats that part out. But my bf claims that the giant drumstick I left him was not that dry. Einh. I’m sticking with the fried chicken next time.
The best part after the amazing fried chicken? The price. There was so much meat that we couldn’t finish and the price was only 12.50 GBP — delivery to the door. I don’t even need to know know what the walk-​in/​take out price is like.
To be honest, if i had walked by this place, i probably wouldn’t have bothered. But thanks to JustEat, I’m not gonna be craving KFC anymore!
