Good customer service and drivers, i can recommend E8 cabs as an ok outfit

We booked a taxi through E8 Cabs to take my husband and I ad my in-​laws to the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday (from London Fields).
We booked the cab early afternoon to arrive at 6.30pm. It did not arrive until 7pm, after me calling the company 3 times and speaking to the driver who spoke so little English I could not ascertain where he was or how long he would be.
Upon arrival he did not know where the Royal Albert Hall was so we had to google the postcode for him on our phones for his satnav. He then took us the most obscure route ever and it took 50 minutes, we only just made the show.
He was unable to follow the satnav instructions and did at least 3 u-​turns when he realised he had turned the wrong way. To top it off, he was happy to follow the satnav’s directions of going through Trafalgar Square which meant we sat in unneccessary traffic making us even later.
We got a black taxi home which took just 25 minutes which shows just how slow the taxi was in taking us.
I would not book through E8 cabs again nor would I recommend them. Appalling service.
