Cosy place with great atmosphere. The staff are very kind and they make really delicious cocktails and drinks. I’ll come again.

If you are a mixed drink fan then vodka or gin with almost any type of juice is good. Margaritas here are my favourites. I would recommend you try to sit at the bar. Doing so will allow you to talk with the bartender and establish a little bit of a relationship

Love the Bloody Bitter Cocktail, totally wakes me up after a night of heavy drinking. The perfect amount of flavor and pazzazz. I’m sure they have other great drinks, I just always seem to get this one!

Delicious cocktails, amazing atmosphere and cool people, I think this place is just perfect for a night out!

These are hands down the most amazing cocktails you will ever taste. Forget the same boring old cocktails and try ones with rhubarb in and the most fantastic attention to detail you will see behind a bar (eg misting spray over each cocktail before serving). I sampled these at a Qype event at the Cobden club and am now dreaming about ever being able to afford to host a party and have these guys behind the bar.

My first experience of Drinksfusion was certainly a great experience — the guys know what they are doing. The cocktails I tried were all characterful and even the Bloody Mary, which isn’t one of my favourite drinks, left a positive memory.
Ingredients used in the drinks must have been excellent, but it was the canapes where you could tell there was real quality. The, hardly cooked, tuna was excellent — I only wish I had managed to try one on the accompanying watermelon shots before they all went!
If you get the chance to try Drinksfusion I would certainly recommend you do so.

I loved the Bloody Asparagus Mary (it probably has a real name), the watermelon gin combo and also the one with the rose in it.
I tasted them all, which is why my memory is a little hazy!
The guys who run the business are incredibly knowledgeable and great at conversing with the guests, why we even were subject to a bit of ‘stealth learning’ about the drinks, which is, of course, much more exciting than normal learning.
I’d recommend them for catering if you’re having a soirée!

I wonder how much it would cost to have Drinksfusion come and set up in my dining room, just on call like, in case I ever fancy a cocktail or delicous canapé.
I’ve had the pleasure of sampling their cocktails twice now, at the great Fernandez & Lelu event and now at the Cobden Club.
While at Sianys first event Johan was on his own making fab cocktails for dinner party guests (and managing wonderfully despite the throng that was at that do) this time there was a whole team on hand to serve canapes, drinks and a chocolate fondue. We were also treated to a jazz quartet and a great bunch of qypers to mingle amongst.
There were a selection of specially concocted drinks on the main menu (of which I can’t remember the details unfortunatley although I’m sure they were indebted to Ketel One Vodka and Geneva Gin) and then the canapes were matched with shots of other drinks as we went on.
I’m a bit of a bloody mary snob but the shot variety were up there with my favourite ever (and considering that was in a defunct bar in Brisbane I suppose I should be grateful)
Canapes were great as well, the mini steak bites a particular favourite and then we got our 5 fruit a day (the fact that it was covered in chocolate does in NO WAY diminish the health aspect)
So yeah, I’d hire them for sure, perfect for a corporate shinding or a wedding. I’m not sure my budget stretches to get them to cover a barbeque but it would be fabulous!

First sampled Johan’s wares at F&L with Jim Haynes. My mind was a bit foggy after that, so was determined to savour it this time.
Along with the smooth and elegant cocktails there were canapes better than you get at even smart weddings. The pairings were great: rare beef with asparagus bloody mary shots. Mmmm. Finishing off with desert shots and a fruit choc dip (as per photo of Sian above) was perfect.
The atmosphere at the Cobden Club was completed with a jazz band with smooth female vocals. Nice!
All in all heartily recommend anyone having a party to book Drinks Fusion — you won’t regret it.

I have to say Drinksfusion know what they are doing. The cocktails were the perfect summer mix, nothing to sweet but lots of flavour (elderflower, watermelon, yummy!).
As it has been said Johan knows his stuff and loves what he does, it shows.
The canapés were fantastic, fresh, not too complicated, and perfectly matched to the drinks. Just when I didn’t think the evening could get any better out came the the fruit chocolate fondue and chocolate honeycomb Martinis, hands down my favourites of the night.
If you are looking for quality I would defiantly recommend Drisksfusion for those organizing an event.

Drinksfusion were on hand at the Cobden Club for a Qype event — they treated us to amazing cocktails and some canapé /​shot pairings that were delicious. My favorite was the seared tuna bites with watermelon shots — the flavors worked together so well. The bartenders were calm and collected despite constantly making drinks for us Qypers, and the brains behind Drinksfusion were friendly and informative about the ingredients they like to use. Geneva gin (from Holland) was used in several of the cocktails and gave them a strong gin flavor that balanced with the other ingredients — I might have to keep an eye out for this gin in particular. Found out they are amenable to doing private parties for individuals, not just corporate type events, so something to keep in mind if you want to have a bit of a special night!

So I was one of the people suffering the morning after the night before but it was totally worth it! The cocktails were amazing, almost too pretty to drink. almost! We had a brief chat to Johan and he had clearly put lots of thought and effort into creating perfectly matched canapes and cocktail pairings. My favourite was probably the steak and Bloody Mary combo, a winner for commited carnivores such as myself. Sadly being a lightweight I didn’t quite manage to make it to the dessert cocktails which I’m a bit devasted by as they sound delish. Next time I plan on pacing myself more carefully!

Sian, well done for organising a great event in a unusual place like the Cobden Club.
Complements to Johan and Jason of DrinksFusion for the perfect combinations of drinks and canapes. Also, Monica, DrinksFusion bar staff, was always helpful and attentive in replenishing drinks — enjoyed the Whisky Sour.
Particular favorites were seared tuna with the watermelon shooter, and the honeycomb wine with the chocolate fondue.
The only downside — having to go into work the next morning –with a badly aching head!

The guys from Drinksfusion were the undisputed highlight of last night’s Qype event. I love their idea of designing canapes to match miniature cocktails. Everything expertly prepared and beautifully presented.
We were treated to some amazing examples of their art, tasting veggie, meat and fish nibbles which were followed by a spectacular chocolate fondue.
The rhubarb/​elderberry Tom Collins was one of the most imaginative cocktails I have tasted, and all the other creations looked just as amazing.
To round off everything they even provided the music.
I am not usually a fan of jazz standards as it so often slips into the realms of department store entertainment. Last night’s performers were top class and the singer’s voice as smooth as the cocktails.
Top of my list of names to remember for high class event planning.

Johan Svensson of Drinks Fusion was on hand at Fernandez and Leluu’s party hosted by Jim Haynes preparing us some stunning cocktails. My favourite cocktails were the Bellini, the Rose Club (gin, vermouth, rose liqueur, raspberries and lemon juice) and the Spring Tom Collins (gin and lemon juice with elderflower cordial and soda).
Johan made the evening very special and worked so hard to make everyone pleased with their cocktails. He was the most popular guy that evening!

I was one of the lucky Qypers who attended Drinkfusion’s cocktail event at Cobden Club and it quickly became apparent that Johan not only knows how to make crowd-​pleasing cocktails. He has very capable staff and we were treated to a selection of cocktails and some wonderful canapés, the highlights being the seared tuna and the heavenly, tender beef topped with chopped tomatoes.
Johan organised a fantastic and fun event where everyone really enjoyed themselves; I really can’t recommend him enough. It is obvious that he loves his job (as anyone who has ever chatted with him for more than two minutes will realise) and he is a thoroughly likeable guy who really knows his catering. Six stars.

At a recent Qype event, we had some lovely food and a bartender was also present to provide us with various drinks. I did not really intend to have cocktails as they are not normally my drink of choice, and planned to stick to drinking wine.
I kept this resolution until someone sitting next to me got herself a lovely-​looking cocktail garnished with rose petals. Curiosity piqued, I got myself one. I was very impressed with Johan’s mixing skills; the rose club cocktail I had must have been one of the best cocktails I’ve ever tasted. Not too sweet, and potent while not really tasting of alcohol, it was a fab drink. I also tried the bramble, which was delish as well.
Throughout the evening, I never once saw Johan look stressed out, despite being constantly surrounded by thirsty dinner party guests. He was happy to chat to people while mixing one cocktail after the other and even took the time to talk about which ingredients he used for his cocktails.
Verdict: If you ever need a bartender (Johan was rather adverse to the term ‘mixologist’) I doubt that you can do much better than get in touch with Johan. Highly recommended.

(A) I loved that all his cocktails were made with gin, and (B) I was even more impressed that the After Eight Alexander was made with cognac and cream, which I loathe and yet it still tasted AMAZING. Johan said he’d tried really hard to keep the flavour of the chocolate — by melting them — and it was completely delish. Fab attention to detail.
It would be an utter luxury to have them for a house party, plus they can obviously come with amazing themed cocktails to order.

At the recent Supper Club event that Qype ran, we were lucky enough to have an awesome mixologist. Johan came, mixed, shaked (shook?) and well, gave us all rather impressive hangovers. I know my cocktails and Drinksfusion know how to mix ‘em.
Fresh ingredients, happy service, and a really interesting variety of drinks. The perfect bellini too. They made the event really special (if special means being forced to take the day off work due to your headache) and hopefully they’ll do a Qype event very soon, so more of you can try Johan’s yummy creations.
Just stock up on painkillers beforehand.
