History

Established in 1999.

Dreamtek was formed in 1999 by a team of video industry professionals to address the changing requirements in the production and post production markets. Dreamtek was the first Apple Solutions Expert for video in Europe and has been actively involved in many of the most innovative production, post production and storage solutions implemented in the UK. Throughout this time, Dreamtek also became an Adobe Video Solutions partner.



Dreamtek is an important solutions partner for Adobe and thanks to this relationship is able to manage the entire video workflow from creation, to post production, digital asset management to video distribution and collaboration. This has lead to us gaining an impressive and diverse customer base delivering state of the art studios, bespoke video on demand streaming platforms, staffing and consultancy.

Meet the Business Owner

Garrett D.

Business Owner

Garrett Doyle is a Canadian from Newfoundland on the east coast of Canada. He graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with an honors degree in history and political science. Garrett came to the UK in 1993 and started a career in IT with one of the largest Apple partners in Europe. Eventually, Garrett started his own Apple Partnership Organisation, which quickly grew to become one of the UK’s largest Apple reseller focusing on the creative industry.

Garrett was one of the founders of Dreamtek and served as a non-​executive director until 2007 when he migrated into the Business full time.

Garrett has been active in Dreamtek’s strategic change program, which now offers a full video workflow solution from creation to development and distribution as well as focusing on communication and collaboration solutions for large Global organisations.
