This pub only really gets busy on match days. During the week it is pretty empty but perfectly pleasant in an old school kind of way. On match days, the pub is popular with away fans (it is close to the away stand) but I have never seen any trouble (and I live just round the corner so I would).
Is it my favourite local? No. However, it provides a perfectly adequate pint and midweek, a seat is always available — no bad thing.
