I’ve loved the Phoenix from my very first visit onwards, and that was more years ago than I want to admit. (it’s my birthday next month, so I’m feeling a bit age sensitive ;))
It’s called The Phoenix Artists Club for a reason. Actors, musicians, theatre lovers… Framed theatre programs and photos on the walls. Great music (it’s not unusual to find customers and bar staff singing together during the later hours), lovely décor, overall feel-​right-​at-​home atmosphere. Private parties are catered for in a room at the back of the bar. You need to be a member for entry after 8pm.
