Don Arancini

While waiting for some street performers to arrive, friends noticed my antsiness and sent me to The Schoolyard Market. It was relatively boring (I was hunting prepared food, not clothing or preserved goods), but I noticed Don Arancini promoting risotto balls in the forms of the illustrious Arancini.
The proprietor is very friendly. Besides tempting arancinis on display, he has small samples he will top with his homemade caramelized red onion jam. Two flavors especially caught my eye — the chorizo, saffron, and chili and the goat’s cheese, sun dried tomato and basil. However, there is a deal. If you buy three, it’s £3.50 where as one is £1.50. What a great deal! I asked for a suggestion and he went with a new selection, the feta, olive, and spinach. I left happy with my three arancinis and more red onion jam.
