So good! Get there early though as they always sells out. Usually go for the curried mutton and mac n cheese and coleslaw. Well worth the walk!

I’m writing this while I’m enjoying a delicious portion of maccaroni cheese I just bought at DJ’s. I’ve discovered the perfect lunch alternative to the many bland sandwich bars around.
Said maccaroni cheese is very Caribbean and not for the faint hearted as it is spiked with chillis.
I will certainly be back for one of the other West Indian delicacies — can’t wait to taste their jerk chicken or one of the patties. All looks and smells great.
Stepping into DJ’s makes you forget another rainy Summer’s day in London.

DJs have a couple of shops dotted around London, and is a West Indian Take away shop that has been running for years. Which has the nicest selection of caribbean food, drink and desserts. Come the end of the day, it may be best to ask what they have left, instead of just choosing!
