Unfortunately we stopped going here in Summer 2015. For 2 years it had been a go to spot for us but we noticed the quality of the food and service decline rapidly. After chalking a few poor visits up to luck we finally gave up and haven’t been back since. We found that when they were busy they would often forget our order or we might get one starter & nothing else. They were apologetic but after a few similar experiences it was very annoying. We may give it one final shot but I’m in no rush to do so.

Dim T is one of our go-to dinner spots. I have never had a bad meal here– it’s always delicious! The service is also consistently good. The dim sum platter is great and I recommend the Nasi Goreng, any of the curries and coconut rice. Everything’s clean and the place has just been renovated so décor also gets a thumbs up. Pop in when in Hampstead.

I’ve tried this place a few times and have been disappointed each time. I am giving up and will not go back. There is only one attentive girl that works there(long blonde hair, super sweet) but the other servers we’ve had have been inattentive could really care less. I have had some good meals-the chilli coconut dish with noodles is really good, the spring rolls-both duck and veg are good but everything else is just average, nothing note worthy. It’s a bummer because with a little extra effort this place could be really good but they don’t seem to making the right effort.

A truly bizarre experience. As a place that suggests Dim Sum — forget it. A mish mash of asian cuisine(not that that is usually a problem) that never quite knows what it does or should do. It certainly does NOT do Dim Sum to the best of its ability. The pork and prawn dumplings were totally off. I mean OFF. Terrible. Rancid. I complained. I got some other dumplings instead… Tasteless. The poor, nervous — yet experienced — waitress seemed unable to cope even though we were the only customers. After our food was delivered to table we were constantly asked if we would like ‘this or that’…‘or that or this’…very annoying. I went to the counter and asked to pay my bill… As I handed over my cash and she counted out my change she asked«can I get you coffee or a desert»…Truly odd.

Delicious, fresh food. We ate there last night and shared the chicken, mushroom and wasabi dim sum as a starter, I had the super food stirfry with prawns for my main, and we shared the apple fritters with toffee sauce and vanilla icecream for dessert. All very tasty and seemingly quite healthy too, not oily at all. Highly recommended, we’ll be going there again!

Awful pseudo Chinese food at diabolically expensive prices lapped up by the pretentious clientele. Avoid at all costs.

Very decent dim sum. Right down Perrin’s from Ping Pong, so take your pick. I find them mostly interchangeable.

Dim T cafés are popping up all over the city. This Hampstead location is cool inside and serves tasty food. It’s a mix of Chinese and Thai styles, with dim sum being a popular choice. But there’s lots of noodles and other bits on offer, too. The food is good for groups because it’s easy to share. It’s also easy to eat light if you want. They’ve got downstairs seating, and often need it. It’s a popular spot. The vibe is easygoing but upscale. Celebrity spotting: Liam Gallagher ate a meal here at a table across from me. I did not pester him, and he did not attack me.
