Considering everyone in my seventh grade class was forced into taking sewing lessons for an entire quarter, you’d figure I’d at least be able to figure out how to do simple hems and put on buttons. You’d be wrong. Thus it was that after all three of the buttons on my winter coat busted off(I guess I should probably cut back on all the chips I’ve been eating…) I found myself in dire need of some tailoring tech support. Enter: Diana’s Cleaners. Not only did they fix the two coat buttons I’d saved, they provided a third almost-identical button to match. A cleaned coat, three sweaters, two pairs of slacks, plus the button repair work ran roughly £27. Not cheap by my standards, but I’ve gathered that it’s quite reasonable for this neighbourhood. Bonus points go to offering extended hours so I can drop off and pickup clothes before or after work. I like it when others work around –my– schedule!
