History

Established in 2010.

We build on natural talent as well as supporting professional dancers. Training and equipping students with the skills to be able to cross over in to musical theatre, television and other related areas. The Academy was founded by Angelo Ruggieri, a recognised choreographer and instructor who has taught and performed across the world. Angelo recognised gaps in dance instruction so he set about developing an innovative model that would more effectively progress and challenge students in artistic creativity and technical competency. Angelo and his team adopt an approachable teaching style that encourages students to explore their interests and build on existing talent within a highly charged, creative and fun environment — something that sets his studio apart from other London Dance School.

The facility itself is comfortable and modern with an adjoining lounge so that students can stretch and relax before and after classes.

Graduated in Ballet, Lyrical Jazz, Contemporary Dance and Repertory at Accademia Napoletana «Lyceum «and Teatro Massimo Palermo School. Angelo has danced in Italy and abroad as a Principal and Solist in a variety of productions. Working with recognized companies such as European Ballet (Coppelia), Password Company, I due Golfi Ballet, Balletto di Napoli, Teatro Massimo Palermo: Micha Van Hoeke (The seven deadly sins with Ute Lemper), Les Contes D’ Offmann by Jarom Savary (Choreographer from Opera national de Paris) with Vincenzo La Scola, Shalom with Amii Stewart choreography by Aleksandre Stepkine, Hamburg Ballet the Lady of the Camellias. Also worked with Gabriella Riccio Company, TATE Britain, Sainevox Zurich, Arthur Murray Jordan and London, RAI (Radio Televisione Italiana), SKY, BBC London, Race for LIfe UK. Choreographer and Teacher for Bellini Theatre, Diana Theatre, Delle Palme Theatre, Arthur Murray, Dance of Life, BBC (Edinburgh Festival), SKY, Danceart.
