Corney & Barrow Bars

So we were here for a friends 50^th, not sure she would be pleased I’ve just outed her age! But she is wearing well for 50, ;D
So first time here and I have to say that the building/​road works in the area made it a right pain in the arse to find! If you come via Moortgate station it should be an easy find but the exit you would use to make it such is closed, But find it we did. The venue is available for private hire so if you are looking for a private venue in a central (ish) then this is somewhere to consider.
The venue provides a big enough space for people to mingle, dance and talk. Seating is available around the edges so the space is not completely clear. My understanding is that they can provide music if you cannot provide your own. It has a downstairs area that comes as part of the package so as an estimate i would guess it could easily hold 100 plus people upstairs and another 5o downstairs comfortable. If you want to squeeze people in I’m sure you could but how comfortable and cozy it would be i could not say.
The bar staff were very good with a range of drinks available. There was food as well, but I did not have any so I cannot comment on the taste/​quality of it. You can also, if are looking to take photos of the event, provide disposable cameras and the venue staff will snap pictures alongside your guests using them.
