A really fantastic local pub. Good food and even better atmosphere.

This is a good neighbourhood pub and I would give it a five star review, but was very disappointed by the (lack of) gluten free food choices on my last visit. The chef had recently changed the menu and the only edible item was a salad, not an ideal main course on a cold night. The chips are coated in flour, along with pretty well everything else. Apparently they have had a string of customers wanting something else, so the chef prepares a baked haddock with mash and veg — very nice, but why not put it on the menu?
The service was excellent, the wines were reasonably priced and my companions’ food was pronounced very good — but why oh why have such a limited choice for those of us who cannot eat gluten?

Had one of worst Sunday roast meals there today. Shoe leather roast beef completely overdone, inexperienced wait staff could not match main courses with people, nothing cleared after main courses. No water offered or refilled despite being a £200+ bill. Go figure…
Pity, as the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Probably ok if you are looking for a good selection of beers and ordinary pub fare.
Leave the roast dinners to better chefs and professional wait staff.

A Pub to love! Good beers, real pub atmosphere, cosy corner with armchairs. The meal needs a little bit more attention but okay for a pub. Very friendly staff and no hang-​around at all.

Ram Rod strong ale and a Game Pie. Both delicious!

The Cooper’s burger is great especially if you add the extra cheese and bacon. I know it is stuffed with calories but I simply can’t resist it I am going to work it out in the gym. For dessert I had the Banoffee pie which was also great. I recommend the place to everyone in the area.

Spent a pleasant relaxed Sunday afternoon here recently. Good bar service and reasonable range of youngs Bitter.

Finally decided to break the duck and go to the Coopers Arm which is probably my local as every time I’m in the garden i look longingly at the sign and think of a nice cold beer. It’s only taken two months, It’s a hard place to be right off the kings road. Loads of great places to eat locally, personal favourites include the Pigs Ear, Picasso and Patara, oh and the Trafalgar on the Kings road.
The Coopers Arms wasn’t bad, good crowd /​atmosphere, nice beer and good selection of wine. Food was tasty but wasn’t anything special, seemed more like chain pub food than home cooked or something special. Though i have to admit for the price i think you can get better food but i was happy with the experience and would happy pop back for the occasional cheeky beer,

Three words to describe The Cooper’s Arms… Sticky. Toffee. Pudding. Best I’ve had in London, without question. If you’re in Chelsea and want pub food go to Cooper’s, it’s better than the other pubs around by a pretty long stretch.
The ambiance in this pub is also great, you feel at home instantly. The wait staff is super friendly and always ready to help. Located off the beaten path and in a posh neighborhood, Cooper’s is a quiet pub to go to and have a nice drink and some food. There’s a small outdoor area in the back for warm evenings, and plenty of drinks to choose from.

My boyfriend and I LOVE the Coopers which is one of the few traditional decent pubs left in Chelsea. He likes the English ale and I like good fizz by the glass. They are relaxed about dogs and our dog appreciates the opportunity to sniff about and meet other pampered pooches. The food is a bit hit and miss — I recently had delicious fish cakes which were marred by a curious sweet custardy sauce. But who cares about food when the atmosphere and other punters are so pleasant.

Under new ownership, the guys running this place are determined to make it a home from home and a hit with locals. I, for one, hope they succeed. Lovely place (and lovely pork pies, if you’re interested).

Despite the provision of food, this place resists the full «gastro pub «label and still qualifies as a a «good pub»

This useful little retreat has been undergoing some slight refurbishment and has recently received fresh coat of paint. Tucked away from the bustle of King’s Rd Chelsea, it has a bubbly, relaxed atmosphere. Coupled with that it also has an interesting range of furnishings like a good sized tables and chairs-​the chairs being very plush, a pre-​war side-​board and dresser, many LNER posters, a map of Chelsea and the River Thames on the wall and an enormous Railway clock.
The fire place is unique and decorated with dried flowers and a very tusky boar’s head and tea-​shop chandeliers.
The pub has a marvellous selection of Youg’s Bitter, Special and Seasonal St Georges or Waggle Dance on the hand pumps, and there are 14 wines available by the glass.
Bar food includes soups at 4.50,grilled Goats Cheese and Red Pepper Crostini with wild rocket salad, and staples like bangers&mash or Fish & Chips at 8.50 and also chargrilled organic Chicken, Avocado and Bacon Salad for 8.95
