There are times when I’m in the area and the Chip Inn is convenient. I think that its worth noting that they don’t pretend that they are anything other than a basic chippy. Everything is pre-cooked and its not unusual to find a warming cabinet full of battered fish and the chip hopper nearly full of chips. I guess it great for ‘fast food’ Has improved over the last 6⁄9 months but as I’ve already said its Fish & Chips at it most basic. Have to agree with Leon C. above but want to say first that I don’t pretend to understand the economics of the fish and Chip shop BUT the Chip Inn sells fish & chips for the same price as Masters Super Fish which is several orders of magnitude better. Yer pays yer money yer takes your choice!

Chipp Inn is located on a godforsaken stretch of Holloway road. Surprisingly the chips, fish, wings, sausages, and chicken, and everything else i have had in there are A1 as good as anywhere else in London or by the seafront for that matter(OK, not as good as Baileys of you know where) I highly recommend ths well established eatery.

The Chip Inn Fish Bar is no different to any other chip shop. There is a little eat in area, and they also sell the proverbial fried chicken. They charge £1.20 for a bag of chips,(It still distresses me that chips cost more than one pound.) and you have to pay 10p for a sachet of sauce. Even though there is nothing special about Chip Inn, there is nothing bad about it either. If you are in the area and you want something hot to eat, it is cheap and cheerful and you know what your getting.
