My flat has very heavy doors that slam.
6 doors in total. All slamming. All the time.
This annoys me.
Ugly doorstoppers also annoy me.
Flimsy doorstoppers, same feeling.
I also miss my cats. (I promise, it’s related)
Charlene Mullen is an adorable store that happens to sell very cool doorstoppers. In the shape of cats. Heavy, sturdy cats. With expressions. And names.
So Fifi & Cy now live in my house and keep the two most heavily trafficked doors OPEN. No more slamming. No cat dander. Everyone is happy! They also have lavender in them which not only smells good but scares off pesky moths from eating my sweaters. So much upside. They each cost £35 and weigh about that I’d think. They are soft and unobtrusive (off white with black stitching), blending well. They don’t scuff the doors. I don’t trip over them. I can move them easily with my legs/​feet.
Other items include cushions, dinnerware/​flatware (some very cool London themed sets are currently being produced), other textiles… and families of doorstopper and cushion cats. I like Charlene’s style. Both times we visited the shop assistants were quite nice, as well.
