Chang’s Hapkido Academy is a growing martial arts school offering martial arts instruction to students in London. Chang’s Hapkido Academy was founded by Grandmaster Gedo Chang in 1974 when he moved from his native South Korea to Chicago. Chang’s Hapkido opened it’s first UK branch in 1993. Master Chang personally grades all students in both countries and ensures quality standards.

Experienced instructors provide quality Hapkido instruction to individuals and groups.

Chang’s Hapkido Academy’s London school Head Instructor, Tammy Parlour has trained with Master Chang since 1982.

Instructor Tammy Parlour began studying Hapkido under Grandmaster Gedo Chang in 1983. With over 27 years of experience, she is now a 4^th degree Black Belt

Parlour has established schools in both Lincoln and London; and now runs the London School full-​time delivering 15 classes through the week

Parlour is dedicated to ensuring that the high standards of Chang’s Hapkido Academy are maintained through the quality of her training. Classes are rigorous and have a traditional focus on mastering the basics as the foundation for developing advanced technique. Instructor Parlour places as much emphasis on Ki and the philosophy of Hapkido as she does on becoming physically proficient.

She has created a learning atmosphere in her school which welcomes students who are diverse in terms of age, aptitude, career, experience, fitness levels etc.
