Catz At Home is a reliable cat sitting service offering professional reliable care for your cat and other small pets in the environment they feel most secure in, their own home and to give you peace of mind. Avoiding stressful catteries and boarding kennels lets your cats relax where they feel happy and secure.

We specialise in cats (though caring for other small pets can be discussed) and being cat (and fish) owners we know what cats like and how to care for your pets giving them lots of love and attention, attending to all their needs whilst you are away.

Fully CRB checked, honest and reliable, we don’t use logo-​ed vehicles or clothing as we feel that just advertises the fact you’re away from home to others.

We offer a FREE introductory visit to discuss your pet’s requirements and free key pickup and return and additionally we can also provide a return home «essentials shop» for those key supplies

History

Established in 2012.

I have 2 wonderful cats of my own, who are just the loveliest affectionate animals.

Firstly there is Tandi a female mixed tortoiseshell who is 5 and is a very petite little lady who runs to the front door to greet family members when we return home from work or school every day and gets first dibs on the attention!

Then there is Howzit, a 3 year old, black and white long haired tom — we rescued him as a very young new born from a shop keeper who was going to drown him. At 3 he towers over Tandi and has his own way of doing things and his own favourite places in the house to sit and observe the comings and goings. Deeply affectionate he likes his strokes and cuddles best when his «sister» is elsewhere and he has to have his favourite blanket nearby. Adept at climbing trees and with a great sense of curiosity he makes an exceedingly good alarm clock, daily entering the bedroom at dawn and giving us a throaty mew until he is satisfied the household is awake.

I have 2 wonderful cats of my own, who are just the loveliest affectionate animals.

Then there’s me. I love animals, cats especially, though I have also cared for African Grey parrots and a Cockatoo who were just adorable, intelligent and amusing. I’m a part-​time OFSTED registered Childminder and get a lot of satisfaction from helping preschoolers learn through play and I am mum to a great family.

In my business I don’t employ students or work experience people to «do the sitting» for me — what you see is what you get, me. If the unforeseen should happen to me whilst I’m caring for your cats then I have links to other professional sitters in nearby areas who can assist with and provide cover.
