Cats Whiskers

I have been using Cats Whiskers since 2012, and I will continue to do so as they have consistently delivered excellent service and the highest level of care for my cat.
On my return she is always relaxed, and I know from the notes they leave behind that she has been having a great time.
All of the sitters have been attentive and respectful, and I feel very comfortable with leaving my keys with them in case I need their service at short notice.
Joanne was fantastic introducing herself and making me acquainted with what they do, she is warm and approachable and very reassuring that she and her team of sitters understand my needs and the needs of my pet. Knowing that they are DBS checked and fully insured, and they have an emergency vet at hand really put me at ease.
I could go on and on about how much I love this service, and what a relief it has been for me as I live by myself and have no friends or aquaintances that can come and care for my cat while I am away.
I highly recommend it!

Cats Whiskers makes going on holiday that much easier. We travel a lot and used to worry about which friends we could persuade to watch our cats, but after finding Cats Whiskers, we and our darling cats became loyal customers. Their service, professionalism, and reliability is really top notch. They make sure to get to know your cats, care preferences, habits, rituals, etc. Once you sort out initial logistics, giving them keys, advising them of parking and providing parking passes as needed, and having them meet the cats on an initial visit/​consultation, they become go-​to reliable carers for your cats, and arranging care is a breeze. (Though it is advised to book well in advance for major holidays because they do become busy). While you’re away, you can keep an eye on what they and your cats are up to via their regular Twitter feeds. And when you return, you are left with a «diary» of day to day accounts from the carer of their interactions with your kitties. But I suppose the best testament to the wonderful service they’ve provided for us is that our cats are perfectly happy, comfortable, content, and calm when we return from holiday. You get the sense that the cats really have been cared for, pampered, and played with. As opposed to leaving them with someone who just comes, throws some food at them, scoops a poo from the litter tray, and leaves. We have relied on them a number of times in the past year and will continue to do so for any of our future cat care needs.
Respect and appreciation of our cats is worth any price, and Cats Whiskers fully delivers.

We trusted Cats Whiskers to make sure our two cats were taken care of and on two occassions our cats were left uncared for due to the inflexibility of this organisation.
First example, I had to ask a friend to come all the way from the other side of London to try sort out a fairly straight forward problem with our conceirge.
Another ocassion, they had our only spare key and wouldn’t share it with our friend to cover feedings that they wouldn’t do on Xmas and New Year.
On both ocassions we were sent rude e-​mails and in one was told «with all due respect it’s not our problem»… when we were the other side of the world we were unable to do anything. Hardly makes for a relaxing time away.
Furthermore, we were willing to be regulars as we were always away and had already tolerated their attitude as we thought there were no other options.
Thankfully, I was wrong. We have since taken our business elsewhere and are receiving a much better service. From someone i think that actually cares about cats. We’ve used them twice and they have been just delightful to deal with.
Think twice before you use this company.

After a fairly recent move to London from the US, my husband and I were a bit apprehensive about what to do with our cat during our travels. She is already fairly skittish after being left with family members then flown overseas, but after meeting Joanne, we knew everything was going to be okay. Joanne is kind, professional and very well organised in addition to having an obvious love and understanding of cats. She’ll even provide extra food and litter and take care of your plants if you need her to. We returned home to a tidy house with a series of detailed notes going over each day’s visit, and most importantly, a happy cat. We will definitely be using Cat’s Whiskers for future travels and recommend them for anyone else seeking a cat sitter.
