Carousel hand picks an ever-changing line up of talented chefs from around the world who share chef Ollie Templeton and his team’s philosophy on what eating out should be all about: amazing cooking, friendly service, a relaxed environment and a shared experience from one table to the next.
Carousel is an on-going collaboration — the resident chefs become part of the team for one, two, three or four weeks before heading home to Paris, New York, Stockholm, Barcelona, Berlin, Sydney, Mexico City or… Stoke Newington.
We’re very lucky to work alongside new and exciting talent month after month and the nice thing for the chefs is that they get a unique opportunity to show London what they’re all about.
The idea is that everyone’s a winner… not least the diners.
History
Established in 2014.
Carousel is owned by four Cousins: Anna, Will, Ed and Ollie Templeton!
Our inspiration for Carousel was simple. When the four of us aren’t talking about food, drink or travel, we’re dreaming about it — so what if we were able to work side by side with the people behind our favourite restaurants from around the world, right here in London?
Starting with Ollie in the kitchen — who has the enviable task of curating the line-up — our team works closely with the resident chefs to ensure that no matter who’s cooking, the Carousel personality is always at the heart of the experience.
Advanced bookings means less food wastage, which is a good thing for us but an even better thing for the planet. In the future, we hope that more places follow suit.
