Uno de mis rincones favoritos de Peckham! Es un sitio muy loco: sala de billar, pub, discoteca y karaōke. ¿Qué más se le puede pedir? Mientras te estás tomando unas pintas y juegas al billar hay otras personas danzando al ritmo de la electrónica y los domingos puedes cantar temazos con la gente del barrio y la gente más abollada que te puedas echar a la cara.
Sin lugar a dudas un lugar curioso al que adentrarse y descubrir realmente el barrio, charlar con el señor del pub y ver a los niños bebiendo sidra mientras juegan al billar.

One of the best nights out in Peckham, I once took my football team mates there for an Xmas night out. We all had such a lovely time ! We met the local Ginger Pigeon binman he was a hoot ! An Alan Partridge wannabe Billy Crystal was there too !!! he never stop with his metaphors and short stories about coal and Norwich FC. One bloke even played a football game but with CARS !
Great night get yourself down.

I visited Canavan’s for a one off night rather than a few games of pool and either the prices are way more than they should be or they put their prices up just for that. Either way it’s disappointing.
To describe Canavan’s as a bit of a dive would be an understatement. The dj’s decks were set up on a pool table, the bar had seen better days and I was a bit scared of the toilets but one thing that it does have going for it is atmosphere. Everyone was enjoying themselves and the crowd they had in for this particular night were very friendly.
Sadly I’m in no rush to get back here for another visit in it’s more natural guise but to be honest I don’t think I’m missing out
