I’m not sure why, but Camden feels like a better choice than Upper Crust or the kiosk-type stalls in Liverpool Street Station. It’s more of a shop, with coolers of sandwiches, pastries and desserts as well as a counter showing some of the baked goods. They have a few tables in the back(some with power outlets) and some high topped seats at the front that face into the station. Those are particularly good for people-watching while you wait down the clock for your train. The sandwiches and coffees are nothing special, but they’re served quickly and efficiently and when you have a train to catch, that’s what matters.

My wife and I had the most delicious sandwich at Euston station yesterday. It was smoked salmon with horseradishmade by the Camden food company. Will be trying more products when we return.

I love this place for charging 99p for a tiny tub of cherry tomatoes, presumably taking advantage of the pecunious, calorie-conscious snackers out there.

A great place in Liverpool Street station to get a quick takeaway lunch or even sit down for a coffee at lunchtime as there are some comfortable seats in the back. Camden Food Company sells relatively healthy options including thick homemade style soup such as spicy chicken and peppers. I would also recommend the chicken and pesto foccaccia bread — delicious and a change from the usual packaged sandwiches usually available.

Yuck. Absolutely pointless place that shouldn’t be occupying the valuable retail space that it does. I made the mistake of having lunch( ) here and can guarantee I won’t do that again! I had a corned beef sandwich that could have been(and perhaps should have been) cardboard. To reiterate: yuck.
