Calneva

Calneva is an Aladdin’s Cave of 1950s and 1960s collectables. Though extremely small in size (it makes up one quarter of The Beehive store) it has a varied range of gifts, pieces for the home and accessories.
The shop mainly stocks vintage fabrics, light fixtures, cocktail glasses and shakers (they have a lot of Baby Cham pieces), phones, luggage and figurines at a very reasonable price. I found an incredible 1950s leather vanity case, with a matching mirror, perfume bottle and powder case for only 32 pounds, in perfect condition with all of its original packaging and instructions in tact.
The shop was previously owned by Flying Duck Enterprises who sold retro and vintage gifts, but also sold kitcsh reproduction gifts (think hideous Elvis clocks and Marilyn Monroe watches) I am pleased to say that the new owners have not succumbed– their stock seems entirely authentic and slogan free.
