Specialties
The London branch of CLC Bookshops is one of the largest Christian bookshops in Europe. We are part of an international, evangelical missions organisation (a registered charity), working in over 50 countries. We have a wide selection of Christian books, Gifts, Cards, Sunday School materials, Music and DVDs, but our main focus is the Bible; we have many different versions of the Bible available, in various sizes and colours, even in different languages. Proceeds from sales support the worldwide ministry of CLC especially in countries where Christian books are not readily available.
History
Established in 1941.
The first CLC bookshop in London was set up at Ludgate Hill in 1946. Some 15 years later we moved to a location in front of St. Paul’s tube station. When the CIty started to develop Paternoster Square some 20 years ago, we re-located to Morley House at Holborn Viaduct. After the expiration of the lease in August 2011, the CLC Bookshop moved to its current location at the foot of the St. Pau’ls Cathedral.
