Extremely fast service on a very busy afternoon, friendly staff and tasty burgers. Byron is always a good our table was very uncomfortable, small chairs, between the kitchen and the hallway. Ask to be sit next to the Windows if possible

Well for the Americans this can be a bit disappointing. I went there today for lunch after being in London for a week I was looking for a good burger. Looked through Unilocal and thought this was a good choice. I got the double cheeseburger. While it was cooked medium it lacked the flavor and juiciness that we are used to getting. The bacon was wafer thin which we expect from our big chains but not a gourmet burger place. Finally it was a bit chewy. Not sure how ground beef is chewy but there you go. In the end it was ok but nothing to rave about

I am a big fan of Byron, what kept me going back are the monthly(sometime bimonthly) special burgers and its accessibility, you can pretty much find a Byron anywhere in central London these days, when you fancy an up market burger, there is a high chance a Byron will be nearby. The new«classic bacon, cheese» this time, howeverdidn’t work for me, it was too simple for my liking, lacked the depth or edge which Byron usually is so good at delivering.

For a Byron, I had a great experience here. We went with a large group for a friend’s birthday and the staff handled it perfectly. Service was fast an courteous, the food arrived promptly and everything was as requested. It’s hard to find a place that can handle large groups well, this is one of them!

Pretty solid burger. Had the Byron Burger which was on a nice soft bun and served with strips of bacon, which is as an American makes me feel at home. The overall burger had good flavor and got me my fix.

Cheers to @byronburger, the best American transplant I’ve found in London! The Brits got it right, it is a «proper hamburger» if I do say so myself! The one thing I’ve figured out during my past three days in London is that traditional British food is never something foodies will travel across an ocean for. So I was pretty happy when we settled on burgers(and a restaurant that actually had wifi) for lunch today during a work meeting. As our break, my teammates and I relaxed with some delicious burgers including: Byron Burger: Dry cure bacon, mature Cheddar, shredded iceberg, tomato, red onion and Byron sauce Veggie Burger: Grilled Portobello mushroom, roasted red pepper, goat’s cheese, baby spinach, tomato, red onion and aioli Smoky Burger: Smoked Cheddar, streaky bacon, crispy fried onions, shredded iceberg, pickles and smoked chilli BBQ sauce Class Burger: 6oz hamburger, lettuce, tomato, red onion and mayonnaise I got the Smoky Burger, which was to die for. I didn’t get it with bacon and I switched up the chilli BBQ sauce for chipotle mayo because I can. It still had a little kick to it that I appreciated(and the kosher pickle on the side was just an added bonus). I also got a side of fries, which pretty much kicked In-N-Out’s arse! So basically I’m a fan :]

Green olives as a starter, cold beer and the best burger I’ve had in London. The friendly service and casual atmosphere deserve an extra half star.

I had only heard wonderful things about Byron burgers, so as you can imagine I was looking forward to trying it out. The burgers are: OK. I by all means have a high bar, having growth up in the US. The buns were a bit flimsy. The meat is fresh but not specifically memorable. Compared to other places nearby. Byron doesn’t live up to either Honest Burger or Burger & Lobster in my opinion. Fine for a quick stop, but if you’re looking for something special. this joint tucked under the corporate office of Central St. Giles likely won’t «wow» you …

I rather like this place, the burgers are incredible and I was quite skeptical at first, but I confess to being a fan. The standard Byron burger With cheese, bacon and«Byron Sauce» whatever that is, cooked medium is rather good.

I probably shouldn’t have gone into this with high expectations. Given that I am American and have had my share of hamburgers back in the states, it was probably wrong to think that Byron would produce a burger just like we do. Although I shouldn’t be eating hamburgers anyway, I opted for a Skinny burger. Came with the usual beef patty and cheese, but I added a portobello mushroom to it. So when I saw the word ‘skinny,’ the menu described the burger as being bun-free. The California girl in me immediately thought about In-N-Out and it’s famous ‘protein-style,’ where the burger is bun-free but is wrapped in lettuce. Big Mistake. When the plate was set in front of me, it was literally ‘bun-free,’ and by that I mean a patty, melted cheese on top of it, on a plate. There was a little side salad and lettuce and tomato on the side as well. While it wasn’t bad, I thought the meat was a little over-done when I ordered it to be medium. Note to self: Whatever you think is going to be like home, it won’t be.

Went for a burger late last night. Enjoyed every single bite! Medium rare burger done to perfection. Was even enjoying the smokey smell of sizzling beef as soon as we walked into the restaurant. Be warned, size of milkshake is lethal! Overall, most enjoyable, with very friendly and attentive staff and probably one of the best burgers in London.
