Excellent! This store was the centre of one of my best competition prizes which happened to be out of the East London Advertiser. Best dressed BBQ chef I dressed up in a pinstripe suit with tie, shorts, plimsolls, an Australia apron, Brazilian carnival mask and a spatula in mum and dad’s back garden. Dad took the photographs with a disposable camera which I developed and scanned off to the East London Advertiser.
Upon hearing I’d won, I visited the store a few days before the event, did my homework and found out where the expensive Supervalu meats were in the store. On the day a photographer from the ELA took some photographs and I had great fun ramming as much food into the trolley in 60 seconds as possible. It came to about £130 worth of food. The staff were so friendly and kind. Wonderful experience and the first trolleydash I’ve won!
