Boris Bags has been an established designer and manufacturer of the finest bags, holdalls, wallets and handbags since 1968. In 1980 the company was taken over by Eli Bitran, trained as an engineer Eli design and manufactured cases, leather handbags and shopping trolleys.

History

Established in 1968.

It wasn’t just the bags themselves which were pioneering, Eli also designed the machinery to make all Leather Goods and hard cases from scratch. Some of these machines are still in his original warehouse on Hertford Road, London, today. In 1990, the business moved premises to Hackney Road and continued to provide the highest quality and most affordable options for any carrying need. Just a mile and a half down the road from where they started Boris Leather Goods was one of only three wholesale bag suppliers at the time in the whole of London.

Today, having sold over 2 million cases, satchels, holdalls, handbags and over 150 different bags brought to market. Boris Bags is not just pioneering new patents in ultra lightweight flight cases. it’s still manufacturing the classically designed satchels and briefcases under the Aristocrat brand which have been unchanged for over 30
