Blackberry Cars

Driver was 10 minutes early at the pick up point in Kensington — he was courteous, well spoken, was a careful driver, the vehicle was clean and the Value was excellent — I will use this service the next time I travel to London.

We contacted Blackberry Cars from home in the U.S. because we (a party of 5) were arriving at Terminal 5 at LHR at 6 am on Christmas morning and needed transportation to our London hotel near Westminster. (Neither the Tube nor the Heathrow Express run on Christmas Day.) When we walked out of Immigration, the driver was waiting exactly where he was supposed to be. He helped with our luggage at the airport and at the hotel. We had a comfortable ride in a minivan-​type vehicle. We had been told ahead of time that there was a 50% surcharge because it was Christmas, which was okay with us. No surprise charges of any kind. We would definitely use them again if we had a big group as it is cheaper than Heathrow Express if there are several travelers.

Used Blackberry for our transfer between LHR and our hotel near Waterloo Station and was very pleased with the service & the price. Also very happy at not having any surprise upcharges for waiting at the airport, unloading bags etc as seems to be the practice with some other minicab companies — everything was included in the price quote.
I was able to book via email & prepay which saved me the hassle of having cash on hand & they sent an estate car as requested as we had large bags. Drivers arrived on time — texted me to let me know he was waiting for me at the designated pickup point at LHR, and came into the hotel lobby to track me down when it was time to head back to the airport. (Much appreciated as the weather was unpleasant and waiting outside for the driver would’ve been no fun at all!)
Drivers were fine — no wild driving and seemed to know where they were going.

We were stuck in a massive line at customs and the driver couldn’t stay which I understand. I called Blackberry twice to apprise them of our situation and the second time was told by a woman who worked there that it was fine and she would send the driver on and refund our money. However, I have yet to see a dime two weeks later.
We ended up using the Heathrow Express and a bus to get to our hotel.
I would not recommend Blackberry and will gladly pay for a taxi next time to ensure a ride.

I used Blackberry to get into London from Luton Airport, where I had dropped off a rental car I had picked up at Heathrow for tooling around the Cotswalds, then on to Bletchley Park just North of Luton. At the company’s suggestion our pick up was at the Luton rental car facility. The driver showed up right on time, with the right size car, and I was ever more glad he took care of the 90 minute drive into London through beastly traffic, delivering us right to our apartment address. The price was fair, we were supplied with driver contact info via email the morning of, and to boot he called to confirm his near arrival just as we were finalizing our rental car drop off. It couldn’t have worked better. If I had opted to drop the rental in London, I shudder to think of the difficulty of locating the rental place, and would still have been hit with the cost of getting to our place.

Unreliable car service. Although I had a confirmed reservation, Blackberry left me stranded in London waiting for a driver that never showed up. Initially no one answered their phone. After several calls I was told that the driver was «just pulling up.» He never did and I finally had to take a cab to avoid missing a flight. Never again.

Used Blackberry cars from London Hotel to Heathrow august 30, 2015 for first time. Price was very good compared to National Express and other taxi service offered by hotel. Booked it online and Jean responded quickly– very happy with response time. Driver was on time and friendly. Car was clean!!! Will recommend this service. Made my 2 week trip to Europe a great experience!!!

Reservation and payment process were easy and efficient. But driver was late and we needed to make two international calls ($$$) to find him. Grrrr. The car he brought was WAY too small for the five of us and all our luggage, which had been clearly described (and paid for) in advance. My poor son was so smushed he was nearly crying.
Driver was very nice, however — almost like our first tour guide. Price was reasonable. If they’d sent the right-​sized car and had been on time, they would have gotten five stars.

Used in UK for 3 trips. Although all 3 times they were late, the first two rides were pleasant. The third not so much. The first from Heathrow to Southampton was good. Second from Southampton to London was good. Third, London Leicester square to Heathrow was not only late, but stood around rudely complaining that car was not big enough for two large and two small suitcases even though that is the info I gave blackberry cars. Eventually put three in trunk and one small one on seat which was just fine although refused to even try for the longest time grumbling about it. Very rude man. I would guess Blackberry doesn’t have regular employed drivers but must call from a list (almost like UBER?) so you don’t know what you are getting. Also uses pay-​pal for conversion of $ to pounds so not very good conversion rates on credit card charges. If charged directly to my card in pounds I would have had a better rate. Might use them again, not sure after the third experience.

Great service! They picked us up on time too and from the airport. The flight lost one of our bags and it took 45 minutes to sort it out and our driver waited for us anyways.

We booked this car service in advance from Heathrow to our London Hotel. The staff answered all of my questions promptly prior to our trip. Our driver Silviu was excellent. We hit very bad traffic jams to get to our hotel. It would have been easy just to stay in traffic and accept the delays but he told us he was going to try alternatives based on his analyzing the GPS and he was able to avoid this traffic. This saved us a lot of time. He was a very personable driver as well. Based on this experience we were glad to select Blackberry for our London airport transfers. We highly recommend this company. I’ve taken 4 different car service companies and Blackberry is hands down the best. Prompt replies to emails, flexibility picking us up when our plane landed 45 minutes early. Nice cars, pleasant drivers and reasonably priced… they are my #1 choice from now on earn in London. Thanks Blackberry!

Very good price compared to other businesses. You are able to request long distance transport. I really appreciated that they were able to quote me a definite price based on where I wanted to go and how long the driver had to wait. I used this service to go from London to Southampton and back. The driver waited on me and also was flexible in picking me up and dropping me off at the locations I requested. The car was very clean and comfortable, I actually ended up falling asleep to and from my destination. Great service!

We used this service on a recent UK trip for ground transportation from, and then later back to, Heathrow for connecting with our car rental locations. All aspects of booking and coordination with the head office were prompt, courteous and efficient. Service was spot on as to pick up timing. Our one complaint, and this is likely a «self-​inflited wound», was that the car on our 2 hour ride from Cheltenham to Heathrow was the most uncomfortable seating we have ever experienced. Our 90 minute arrival ride from Heathrow to Maidstone was just fine. Blackberry’s rates are very low compared to other services, and in the end, we apparently got what we paid for. Absolutely cannot fault the service. Just wished in hindsight we’d elected to pay more for better comfort if other vehicle choices may have been available. We recommend this service but understand it is a budget rate service, so make sure you know what you will be riding in before you finalize your plans.

They are well priced, on time and quick with communication. What more can I say. Book them if you want to save money and be on time.
