The quirky fashion boutique of costume. Vintage finds mixed with hand made designs, we create costumery fit for any occasion.

You can select from our extensive range, spanning many different eras & decades or we can create for you a bespoke costume. And, if we don’t have it & cant make it, we will also endeavour to find you even your most bizarre costume requests.

We also travel… so you can hire us as a giant dress up box, whether it’s for your Festival, Wedding, Launch, Private Party or Corporate Event, we will be on hand to kit your guests out from head to toe in the most wondrous creations.

History

Established in 2010.

Original Bazette Olivia Rigg:

It all started as an organic process through Olivia’s work as a fashion stylist, when the boundaries started to blur with her unwavering love of dressing herself & others up in all manner of weird & wonderful creations. Usually found with some inflatable animal friends from ‘The Hot Pink BazZoo’ by her side, she firstly saw friends begging — then paying, her to dream up such fanciful creations for them too…

From Horse Box to Dressing Up Box:

When suitcases full of enchanting adornments became to plentiful for Olivia to manage it was clear she was going to need a larger form of transportation. Having ceased to be of use in its original incarnation Olivia took over the reins of the family horse box & converted it into the show pony of mobile dress up shops

Having worked in Marketing & PR at M&S for a number of years, Olivia left to pursue a more creative calling…

Working as a freelance stylist, art director & all round creative consultant on shoots, shows & events she developed her love of the ‘theatrics’ and henceforth the birth of Bizarre Bazaar
