Fun experience! We visited the Beaufort Bar on a recent trip to London. It is located in the gorgeous Savoy Hotel. Our intention that evening was to head to the American Bar, but were told to come back as there currently were no seats available. The hostess suggested the Beaufort Bar to us. We easily got seats at the bar and ordered our drinks. I ordered a rum on the rocks which came with a Japanese ice ball. It was kinda cool to watch the bartender chip away at a hunk of ice until he was left with a lovely round ice ball for my glass. We sat for a couple of drinks and watched the lounge act… quite entertaining! The batenders were super friendly and knowledgable and the vibe is a cool 1920’s vibe. The only reason I am not giving this place a 5 star is because they only have super fancy spirits. I’m a low class spirit kinda girl… Captain Morgan to be exact. They had nothing really comparable so I felt a bit awkward sipping my rum on the rocks. Otherwise, I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Excellent bar with wonderful cocktails and a great atmosphere. I always love to come back to this bar because it enables you to have a very relaxed end to an often long day of sightseeing, theatre or just strolling around London. The floral decorations throughout the hotel are also superb. If you are not lucky enough to get a table or seat at the bar straight away, I suggest you wait in the sumptuous and elegant Thames Foyer with one of the wonderful teas that they serve there. Or of course there is the equally good but slightly less atmospheric American Bar towards the front of the hotel. All in all a class act of a bar. Not the best in the world(that honour goes at the time of writing to the Newton Bar in Berlin), but still very much top tier.
