If you have children that coffee shop may be for you. Otherwise I hope you love children and extremely noisy places if you venture into this place. In the back there is a large playroom and a buggy parking. I guess it’s pretty cool when you’re a mom(or dad) to come in here instead of staying home alone… BUT there is another thing that I don’t like in this place… Their overpriced smoothies. I tried the green one and the beetroot/ginger one. Both were way too strong, they put a lot of ginger in it… In fact they are not smoothies, they are juices(and for me the difference is important). 5£ for a non-organic juice? No thank you!

I really wanted to like this local café, after seeing it for about a year but never going inside. I just popped in, in search of a coffee fix and wanting anything but a boring Costa coffee! I bought a flat white for £2.30 in the smallest little cup which felt like air in my hand. The coffee was luke warm also. Really disappointed as the staff were friendly and I’d had a good feeling about this place. The coffee cups to have in looked bigger so I’d be inclined to sit in and give it another chance, should I be meeting someone inside. Also worth adding that I thought it would be full of parents and screaming kids but pleasantly it was peaceful with a room at the back for kids to play and a general area at the front

We found this place by chance. We were trying to find a place to eat around Tuffnel Park(we had no idea about that area at all). It is located next to the tube station. We saw it from outside and I though: oh, well, it looks cosy and cute. I felt in love with the decoration, plain and simple, but lovely, large wooden tables and a really big counter full of delicious food. We took a couple of seats in one of the tables. The place was almost packed(full of middle class mommies with their little ones). Later I found out the place also has a room full of things for babies. They can spend hours there playing with toys! it’s so much fun! Food was great. I didn’t try the coffee but we had a couple of amazing sandwiches. Mine was so yummy(bacon, cheese, rockets and alioli mayo). They serve them with a portion of salad on the side and I have to say the dressing is really good. I saw some poached eggs on toast with bacon in another table, and I definitely have to come back to try that! Staff is friendly and helpful. Really patient with all the little costumers they have every day. It’s not in my area but I wouldn’t mind to come back to Tuffnel Park just to try another dish or just to chill out.
