Had the worst customer service experience of my life here. Went in last Saturday for a shellac manicure(£25). They gave a pretty nice hand massage and the application looked nice at first, however when I got home I saw that they had applied the top coat all over my cuticles. After only a few days the shellac started lifting from the sides of both my thumbs, followed by a few more nails in the next couple of days. I tried phoning them on the Friday(six days after I had my manicure) but they where closed for Easter. Finally managed to get an appointment for Tuesday. When I got there the nail«technician» informed me that usually they only redo shellac manicures if the customer comes back within two-three days(for a manicure that’s supposed to last for a minimum of 14 days!), but that she would make an exception this time. She then proceeded to remove the polish from three of my nails, and was going to reapply polish to only those three nails. Now, in my experience, salons usually redo the whole manicure — first of all because they messed up and want to apologize, second because it looks awful having three newly done nails and the rest with a weeks growth. She called the owner of the salon and was told not to redo all the nails. At this point the nail technicians sister got involved and gave a lot of silly explanations as to why my manicure hadn’t lasted. This girl quickly got very rude, and wouldn’t admit that the failure of my manicure was their fault. Finally I asked them to just remove all of the nail polish from the rest of my fingers and give me my money back, which they refused to do. The nail technician offered to redo the nails for me on Saturday, but her sister told her not to do that. Then — all of a sudden — they refused to to anything what so ever, stating that I had been late for my appointment(I was five minutes late, which I warned the owner that I might be due to coming straight from work on the tube). They both got extremely rude, one of the girls started shouting and the other girl just kept sarcastically repeating«don’t worry, darling» when I said I would leave a bad review for them. When I left they shouted«don’t bother coming back» after me in the street. The whole thing ended with me having to go across the road to a different salon and pay £10 to get the remaining eight nails removed. So to sum it up, all in all I paid £35 for a shellac manicure that lasted me four days. Please don’t waste your money here, go to any of the nearby salons and pay £5 more and have a good manicure.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough — i’ve just moved to West Hampstead and my eyebrows had taken on a life of their own. I moved back from Newcastle where I used to get my eyebrows done at a threading station within Tesco, for £5 and never expected to find it as cheap down here… Stumbled across Be Lush through google, phoned up to see if I could come in asap and literally showed up 5 minutes later. Therapist was lovely, really friendly and did such a good job. Previously whenever I had my eyebrows threaded i’d end up a teary mess, praying for the pain to be over as they battled with the thread for a good ten minutes. At Be Lush it was all done in a matter of minutes and I barely felt it! No tears at all… and all for £5 too! Will definitely be back again(especially as they give you a loyalty card, so sixth visit is free!) I’m so impressed.

The eye brown threading and waxing was satisfactory. Unfortunately we were dissatisfied with the«spa shellac manicure». Firstly authentic shellac Polish was not used, secondly the manicure was shoddy and thirdly thirdly the therapist was very rude. We will not be visiting the salon again. We would not recommend this salon. Overall are very unhappy and disappointed with the experience.
