Bain-​Marie is a boutique health food business whose mission it is to make healthy food and living more accessible to all by providing fresh, vibrant and nutrient-​dense foods using local and seasonal ingredients where possible. Bain-​Marie offers food-​to-​go, catering for private events, supper clubs and cooking classes. We offer a three-​tier pricing system that allows people on lower incomes to discover and enjoy the joys and deliciousness of healthy food.

History

Established in 2015.

Bain-​Marie was started by Marie Cudennec as a pop-​up and was so successful that it is now a permanent feature of the Golborne Road. Like her name, Marie is very French, but she’s also very Chinese. This is where her fervent passion for food stems from. Arguably France and China are home to the two most revered and rich culinary traditions in the world and with a raw food guru Malaysian-​Chinese mother and a French gastronome par excellence father, she feels truly lucky to have had such a diverse «real food» upbringing and seeks to share the recipes and knowledge she has learned over the years and how these have positively impacted her health and happiness.
