History

Established in 1997.

Established since 1997 along the north edge of Victoria Park, London at the corner of Grove Road and Gore Road, we have been providing locals and visitors to the area with delicious hot and cold snacks, meals and drinks from our traditional caffeteria.

Our bagels, breads and pastries are from London’s finest bakeries made fresh in the morning, our delicious sandwich fillings are from the best caterers delivered daily and our locally sourced coffee from Climpson and sons coffee roasters in Broadway market.

I’ve been going here since I was a kid. Even over time staff have changed and prices have gone up, it still has a welcoming and family run atmosphere.
Go for a coffee or the lovely bagels, my fav is tuna and mayo, you will love them and not forgetting the banter with the lovely ladies. The bagels are soft, stuffed with your fav filling and cheaper than a bag of chips from across the road (well not entirely but you get what I mean). Happy days.
If you’re here in the area for a festival, show or an event make sure you a grab a quick bite to eat from here.

I’ve been to this place a number of times and have enjoyed their bagels but today I ordered a salmon and cream cheese bagel and it was the size of a small biscuit! I literally thought they gave me half a bagel before I opened the bag! And was charged 3 pounds for the pleasure!
I’m guessing times are pretty rough as their deli display is very lean. Makes me question the freshness of ingredients. Anyway I’ll think twice about coming here again, unfortunately.

Best bagel I’ve had since being in New York! This place is cheap and utterly amazing. I was working in the nearby Victoria Park and had a coronation chicken one for lunch on an egg mayonaize for dinner! This place is amazing! Cannot rate it highly enough. The bread of the bagel is making me salvage all over again thinking about it.

This is an old staple in Victoria Park —
A little place on the corner of the park, and this place has been around for awhile and seems to have its regulars. Fair trade and organic coffee served with bagels and some basic baked goods seems to be a winning combination.
This place feels very skin and bones compared to local competition — there is no fancy foods here considering it is Victoria Park –It is what it is — and this place in the morning has a steady flow of people.
The coffee is good and portions generous and what is lacking in décor and sophisticated choice is made-​up in generous portions — more coffee that froth !!
