Only the finest products from beautiful Provence in southern France are baked and prepared using the most traditional methods, just in front of the customers completing the“see, smell, taste” experience.
Aux Pains de Papy is not just a bakery, it is a place where each customer shares and experiences the baker’s work.
History
Established in 1948.
The story started with our Grandfather who opened his first bakery in Roquefort Les Pins (south of France) in 1948.
He then moved then in Vallauris (south of France) where our Dad started work as a baker, after helping our Grandpa running the bakery, he will open 4 more (Antibes).
It is now the turn of my brother and I to learn from our Dad and Grandfather how to become an artisan baker.
We will later, in 2009, open «Aux pains de papy» in Juan les pins before moving to our favourite city… London.

Mathieu Esposito M.
Business Owner
Born in 1983 in Cannes, I grew up in the bakery. I studied marketing and tourism and then moved to London in 2006.
After 3 amazing years in London I went back to France to open «Aux pains de papy».
My brother and I run the bakery for 4 years and moved in London in 2012.
