This restaurant prides itself on its hugely popular outdoor dining area positioned moments away from the hustle and bustle of Regent Street, one of London’s key shopping streets.

Heddon Street is a dining destination in its own right, with a great European feel throughout the pedestrianised area.

Aubaine Heddon Street enjoys an individual style and thrives throughout the day with customers enjoying an authentic Provencal feeling, with a lively atmosphere and delicious cuisine.

Heddon Street restaurant attracts affluent corporate clients, as well as high profile, well known luxury fashion and media companies. The restaurant boasts a private area for events for up to 35 guests and can even be hired out exclusively for larger events of up to 100 guests.

History

Established in 2007.

After the huge success of Aubaine Brompton Road, we ventured out into Mayfair and opened the legendary Aubaine Heddon Street in May 2007.

Established for over 5 years and still thriving in this wonderful area just off of Regent Street. Heddon Street is the perfect location to enjoy al fresco dining on those warm sun filled days.

A short distance from Oxford Circus, Regent Street and Carnaby Street, Aubaine Heddon Street is the perfect retreat, as it offers that much sort after oasis whilst out shopping.

I feel like this place is underrated because the ambiance and the popularity of the place somehow set you up to expect more, even though really it was quite decent.
Lured in by the 15,50 2 course set lunch menu. Beautiful place to eat surrounded by leisurely rich people. Bustling but I was seated immediately around 1 pm on Monday. I was impressed by how busy it stayed the entire time. Service was prompt and efficient; they were pretty quick about everything compared to a lot of other restaurants in London. The set menu dishes were small compared to the plates I saw being brought to other tables, but it was a pretty good deal for a starter of seared red mullet with fennel and a main of salmon with asparagus and tomatoes. Though slightly under-​seasoned, everything was nicely cooked and beautifully presented; the mullet perfectly seared, the salmon wonderfully moist and tender.
I would come back to try one of the giant salads I saw being brought to the other tables.

This is a great lunch spot. Yes it is a chain — but each one is just a bit different and has it’s own charm. I love this location — super cute décor. Their superfood salad with grilled halloumi is my go-​to. It’s fresh and delicious — and healthy! The staff is always concious that we’re on our lunch break so they are quick, but don’t rush us.

Went to Aubaine for a work lunch. Hedden Street is largely pedestrian, and almost exclusively restaurants. Aubaine fits in well — a small, well considered space. Table for 4 was a bit tight in terms of proximity to neighboring tables, but was set at an angle so after sitting down I for one didn’t notice that again. The table offered a lot of room for 4, certainly plenty for our food, wine, glasses, shared dishes etc to all fit on comfortably, as well as us to eat without hitting elbows. Big plus.
I had a chicken ‘burger and fries’ deal, which was excellent value for money and wow, the sauce was a-​maz-​ing. Plenty of chicken in that burger, too, they were generous with the ingredients. Fries were on the cold side, but the burger was perfect. My dining compainions were a lot more upmarket and had lamb, which was presented perfectly, fish, and calamari which again was a very generous portion and tender — hot, fresh and cooked perfectly. Dusted with chili, as something different. We all shared a bottle of the ‘house’ wine and it was delicious.
All of us were very pleased with the taste, quality and size of our meal. It’s not a bargain in terms of price, but then again we did not order from the set menu and with the exception of my own deal, we were not ordering with price as the motivator for our selection so for the budget conscious there are options. Our meal for 4 with 2 bottles of wine between us came to £35 each, with service included. I think we had a good lunch, certainly a tasty one.

I mean… I think A-​ok is actually me being quite generous because the service was quite good and meh somehow seems too mean.
On a workday lunch my friend was popping into the city to meet me for lunch, having looked up deals on opentable I found an offer from Aubaine — 2 course for £13.95 — ideal me thinks — cheap and tasty, bang that will do nicely.
The restaurant itself is lovely, really nice and warm décor, elegantly French and rustic O would say. The tables decently spaced so that you don’t feel your neighbour is part of your conversation.
So…the menus for this new deal they did not yet have… ok…the server… knew about the offer but didn’t know what was on the menu… the erver guessed and got it wrong a few times before I asked him to just go and find out.
I went for the duck terrine… not much explinatin required there. I will take it. Then the described butternut squash and goats cheese ravioli I thought oooh yes, perfect autumn dish.
To the food, the duck terrine came with an orange juice sauce of sorts — all quite pleasant but totally lacked any kind of punch. All a bit bland sadly.
The ravioli. well they in themselves were quite tasty… they were 90% goats cheese with a smidge of butternit. The issue with the dish were the accompaniment which I have to think were improvised, chewy chestnuts and pretty much raw badly chopped butternut squash. Meh!!!
Ah wait… I said meh. it was meh… it really wasn’t A-ok…downgraded you shall be Aubaine… OFF to the realms of 2 star for you.

Hmmmmmm again.
This is one of those places that you say you’ll go back to, but you kinda never will.
At the time it seems like a good idea because of the hot French waiters and decent wine, then you go home and realise your fish wasn’t seasoned., my food was seriously lacking flavour, I couldn’t taste anything but regret and horror!
Not to mention the fact that there were scales on my seabass fillet!
I’m not a bear! Take the scales off!
Honestly I couldn’t believe it.
The mash potatoes and seasonal veg were quite nice but still lacking in salt.
I wasn’t impressed with the starter or main but they made up for it with the dessert.
French pastries never dissapoint do they? DO THEY?!
No they don’t ;)
I won’t be returning as I’ve found hotter waiters and better food elsewhere.

We came here looking for a bakery and found a restaurant. We just went in and had brunch, as if that were our intention the whole time.
It was a day for taking our time and I enjoyed the black Americano I ordered. My wife got a lemon presse with mint and sugar. She couldn’t taste the sugar so much, but maybe that’s for the best.
My wife can’t have raw egg so we were wary of getting the eggs Benedict which would have runny egg. We checked with the manager and he suggested some alternatives. We could substitute scrambled eggs, which was good for my wife. I’m pleased with the flexibility.
I ordered the petit dejeuner francais (the French breakfast). It had sausages, bacon, eggs, mushrooms. The description on the menu pulled me in. Each part of the breakfast was fine, but somehow it didn’t come together as a whole. It just felt like a plate holding the separate components.
Nice atmosphere and looks like a good place to catch up with friends.

Well this was a pleasant surprise.
Considering we are in Mayfair and with a budget conscious group of people I decided to book a table here early one Friday due to its close proximity to the Royal Institution.
Service was friendly and it’s bigger on the inside that what you would suspect from the street.
The freshly baked bread was delicious as were our starters. People seemed impressed by all the dishes in fact and my steak was delicious, beautifully cooked with an amazing sauce and came with sides. In fact, most mains came with enough sides to not warrant any extras if you are planning on having three courses.
After our mains were cleared they brought over a slate full of desserts and talked us through them — no dessert menu here. Just drool instead. I was quite happy to take the lot but apparently you need to pick one. I went for the chocolate cake served warm with a scoop of ice cream and it was lovely. Others had an amazing éclair and tasty and huge macaroon.
Wine by the glass was reasonably priced and if you’re looking for somewhere in Mayfair then you’d be hard pressed to find better food at these prices as most things around here have a Michelin star or think they deserve one.

I loved where Aubaine is located. I’m not a big fan of the overly crowded Oxford Circus but this charming French restaurant was situated in a hidden alleyway, beautiful and more private. I went with a group of girlfriends and we loved the food, everything from the bread to the dessert was impeccable. I got the beef carpaccio with truffle and wow, I literally inhaled it.
I would have given this place five stars if it wasn’t for the service. We had a waiter from Milan and he was at first as charming as the restaurant. But over time he got way too pushy in us ordering. He coerced me in getting dessert but when I immediately wanted to cancel it, he actually REFUSED to follow my request.
If it wasn’t for this last bit I would say my experience here was wonderful. So less pushy staff please!

On our last night in London, we had reservations at a nearby restaurant on Regent St. We happened to walk by Aubaine, which looked like a nice and quiet dining experience. It’s a French themed restaurant with a mid-​sized, pricey menu.
The staff was very friendly and constantly walking by refilling our waters and drinks. We had the cheese and meat platters as an appetizer followed by the lobster spaghetti which was simply delicious.
Aubaine deserves a four stars in my opinion, but I dropped it down to three for one big reason. The food just took forever to come out. We were one of the only ones in at the time, and it still took almost 45 minutes before we received our meals.
If you’re in the mood for some French cuisine, by all means check Aubaine out.

Aubaine is the perfect little French spot in central London offering something delicious at every time of day. I stopped in for a superb smoked salmon and duck egg omelette and granola to follow. I must say that it was rather pricey especially for the granola which cost nearly £10 never the less the décor certainly do make up for this as it is a darling spot to enjoy a bite to eat.
The interior is absolutely charming and I fell for all of the French touches immediately such as macarons in glass cases and a divine array of patisseries.
The service wasn’t the best I’ve had therefore made it kind of frustrating that they automatically deduct a service charge at the end — especially for a meal such as breakfast.
Waiting for them to open an Aubaine in Paris!

This a great brunch venue for the weekend if you’re planning to shop in the area afterwards — tucked away on Heddon Street, it’s a wonder how quiet it is, for this part of town, at 12noon. I love the bread basket and butter stick they lay out as soon as you order, definitely the highlight of the meal for me. My Eggs Royal were a bit colder than I would have liked, but my friend’s scrambled eggs looked lovely… I would rate the place a 3.5 star on that basis, but given that this place is pricier than the average French café, I think it’s fair to have higher expectations and to lower the rating accordingly.

The toasted bread in the bread basket w/​french butter was the best. The lobster spaghetti had a nice tasting sauce (but not as good as signoire sassi in knightsbridge) and unfort some of the nice puffy noodles were stuck together. great that they had skinny fries but not great were their bloody maries.

Slightly pricier than the average French bistro — but the location, ambience, service and, most importantly the food, justify it.
This time around I just had a large goat’s cheese salad — and the quality of the produce was clear.
As this version of Aubaine is located on a corner on trendy Heddon Street, it means in summer the whole place can open up.

Best thing about this restaurant is the staff — extremely charming, good-​natured French guys. Food is good, although fairly pricey — for French food at this end of the market, I’d say Côte’s is higher quality but similarly priced.
Its décor is odd — furniture looks as though it’s been bought from a Pier end-​of-​season sale, and the ambience is nice but weirdly artificial. The fixed-​price set menu at £17.50 looked good enough but was a little limited and, compared to the à la carte option, just a little too basic.
We paid, for a course and a half and a glass of wine each, £27 per head (inc service) which, for a mid-​range restaurant on the quietest night of the week isn’t exactly a bargain. But the food was nice, it’s conveniently located off Regent St and quite relaxing, so if you all you want is a glass of wine, a bowl of soup, some moules and a decent pastry for under £25, you’ll find it here.
