You usually can’t go wrong with the standard Italian chains, but the meal I had here was appalling!
I had the Rigatoni con Zucchine e Pesto and as I was feeling a bit flash I added chicken to it. Having courgette in the title would make you think there would be a more than a couple of slices in it, WRONG! There was a measly portion of courgette and the pesto was pretty tasteless as well.
Was pretty disappointed!

After walking around in the rain, a quick decision had to be made. So we ran into Ask. Of course the day I look for an Ask voucher there are none available. Firstly I’ll start with the prices, they are generally priced the same as Zizi.
It was relatively quiet when we went in. It is a simply designed but pretty restaurant. I sat down with my friend and we ordered drinks and a starter (garlic bread with cheese). I was surprised at how slow the service was considering the restaurant was pretty empty.
The Garlic bread with cheese was nice, I’ve had better, it didn’t really blow me away for almost £5 I would have expected something slightly better.
For the main i ordered Fettuccine with vegetables and my friend ordered the seafood Linguine. I asked for an extra vegetable in my dish, which they forgot, but the waitress soon spotted the error and asked them to rectify it. The dish was very nice, it had an olive paste and the mix of different vegetables complemented it very well.
Overall the experience was pleasant, but if I had to choose between Ask or Zizi, I would probably head to Zizi.
