Based in London, UK, Art of Emaan is a web based Store with an international store front selling beautiful Celtic and Islamic inspired art, jewellery and sculpture. It is a theme of commonality between traditions that underpins the work I create. My aim is to highlight and explore the middle ground between these cultures.

I am an artist and a designer living and working in South East London. I have always been very creative and from as far back as I can remember I would create drawings, Paintings and sculptural works that were inspired by my love of comics and Sci-​Fi. I was drawn to the brooding, mystical Knot work of the Middle Ages and the work of the Surrealists and Impressionists of the Early 20^th Century.

In 1997 I started to look into the art that was created by Muslim artists. There is a similarity between the mathematical and woven geometric patterns of Islamic Art and the twisting interconnecting Knot work of the Medieval Celts. My work treads along the path of similarity between. It is this theme of commonality that is the underpinning facet of the pieces I produce. I aim to highlight and explore the middle ground between the cultures that my life inhabits.
