Amazing vietnamese food. We have been looking for good vietnamese in this area for a long time, and were thrilled to find this. Took the kids, who also enjoyed it. Good food, everything was tasty, simple and clean. And very fairly priced!

Just popped in for some Spicy Beef Phở. It was very good indeed. It’s a canteen-style restaurant with a short menu but the beef was tasty, the stock well-balanced, and the pricing keen.

Oddly fried spring rolls, with forgettable flavor and an unusual texture. Hopefully their phở tastes better. Place seems nice otherwise.

Great little viet-fast food joint. The spicy beef Phở was very good, although a bit light on the beef. Their soup+roll+drink meal deal is perfect for someone on the go. The prawn summer roll was great, and not to minty, which some places tend to make them. The spring roll was super, and clearly had their own little twist on the wrapping. If they are open late they can make good money on the late night Camden crowd. Absolutely coming back for more.

I really want this place to work because it could be my local. It’s great to get cheap Vietnamese food. The cuon prawn and pork summer roll was tasty and a good portion. The homemade spring rolls were tasty also but didn’t look good. Both dishes had good dips. For mains we tried one beef and one chicken phở. The beef phở was far superior. The chicken stock tasted very weak so we were disappointed with this dish. The prices are right at this restaurant but the owners need to get the phở stock right so that it can compete with the other Camden restaurants where you can already get good Vietnamese food.

This time, we tried the rice dishes. Com BBQ Pork and Com Stew Beef. The former had very tasty, properly-grilled pork slices on top of rice, and served with some salad. The portion was small, but I am happy to order it again. The latter had slow-cooked beef brisket over rice and it had mild cinnamon/start anise flavour. Again, the portion was small. Goi Green Papaya Prawn was tasty and refreshing, but needed more herbs. I hope the quality of Phở would improve; they need to add more flavours to the stock, provide more herbs/chillies on the side and not to overcook the noodles. Then Anmee would become a welcoming addition to the Camden food scene.

A new Vietnamese place in Camden, still in their soft opening phase so 50% off. Close to the station, I was on my way to the supermarket when I happened on it. Busy(probably in part due to the promotion), I stepped inside to see what they had. The menu is short, generally one plate dishes covering noodles and rice, but also serving Phở, Bahn Mi and Goi(Vietnamese salad). After queuing for a short while, I got to the counter and ordered a special Phở, and some spring rolls, hot for here, and Summer rolls for later on. The crowd was a good mix with predominantly Asian faces. 10 tables were available with quite a few taken up by people waiting for takeout. I found a table and sat down. There were some teething problems, the poor girl calling the takeout orders was so soft spoken very few people could hear her. So, what’s in a Special Phở? Chicken, beef and shrimp. The broth was good The spring rolls are home made and really tasty. The food is good, they’ve obviously tightened up operations since the last review. Especially as this was during quite a rush. I’ll come back for another bowl of relatively healthy noodles!
