very tasty food indeed. I had the mixed grill, and it all was very good, the lamb was outstanding. Great service, fun décor, smallish space so I would recommend reservations certainly on a week end. the service was excellent as well.

Modest exterior, but Excellent food and service. Both chicken and lamb are seasoned well and very tasty, served with crispy naan. Then there was hilarious looking ice cream served in an angry bird toy…

I have been here a number of times and I never have anything to complain about.
On a Sunday and Monday they do a deal £10 for a starter, curry and side which is defiantly worth the price. I usually get chicken tikka starter which is always tasty then a chicken dopiaza which once again I can not fault. I have tried a number of different sides here and they are also tasty.
The staff are always happy to help and the décor is stylish. Whether you are going for a quiet meal or a birthday celebration this is a brilliant place to go. Cant wait to go back!

Fabulous décor. Very attractive and relaxing. Amazing atmosphere, staff were over whelming. To top it up with all of that, the food was mind blowing. Have to say, what a great job they are doing. Will definitely return, and is highly recommended!

Aniseed used to be called the Rogue Trader, but was revamped fairly recently so as to increase the bar space and make this place look a little bit posher. I haven’t eaten here all that often — maybe four or five times over the last couple of years or so — but haven’t had a bad meal here, nor have I found this place all that cramped. There’s a wide selection of dishes on the menu and I’ve generally found their food to be of a decent standard, even if the service is a little lacking. I wouldn’t rule dining at this place out if I’m in the area, that’s for sure.
