History

Established in 2000.

Andrew’s passion for antiques started when he was a boy and was taken to visit his grandfather at work. His grandfather was the head of the Antiques and Interior Design Department at Harrods for over 36 years. So, combine this love of using antiques in a stylish setting with the love of sealing a deal, that was inherited from his Scrap Dealer father, and you have an Antique Dealer.

Andrew now runs the business with his wife Christine, from their workshops in Devon, where they live with their two sons.

The business has always focused on helping clients create unique rooms with pieces from across the periods, that work together and with more modern pieces because they have clean lines. Importantly these pieces have all been checked by their dedicated workshops to ensure that the new owners can enjoy them and be proud of them!

Andy’s Best Find so Far

’20 years ago I bought a stained glass panel from this very eccentric palm reader who approached me and said she had something I had to have. She was so convinced that I had to have a look. She showed me a lovely stained glass panel with the letters E and N intertwined… E being the first letter of my wife’s maiden name, and N of course for Nebbett. That panel is now in the front door of our home.’
