AMC

I have been using AMC since 2000 and have covered over 300,000 miles in cars they have looked after.
Great advice and value for money all the time with very, very, few silly little errors.
In the interim I have used other places from time to time but never got the ‘Reception Service’ and attention to detail, timing and cost-​explained that I get from AMC. I drive both BMW and Mercedes and have recommended many others, all of whom seem to go back too!

Took my 1 series BMW there for a change as my car being 4 and a half years old and out of warranty thought I would try AMC as have heard good things.
Bearing in mind my car had a full BMW service history when I received the car from AMC the engine started sounding really bad and other people would mention how rough the engine sounded so I phoned AMC to tell them the problem they informed me it was because the car had a big diesel engine in a small car and that was why the cars engine sounded so rough, made me feel stupid for phoning in the first place.
So carried on driving the car which was stupid and the drive chain slipped and damaged the engine the cost of a engine rebuild ment I let the car go so no longer have a car.
Not sure if AMC are to blame just wished when I phoned about the engine noise they would have asked me to bring the car back in.
They later told me the drive chain was a non serviceable part, just seems strange straight after they look at the car it has major engine failure and have since learnt use of wrong type engine oil can cause this problem.

This is an independent BMW and Mercedes specialist that we have been using for a while; two major advantages over the ‘official’ BMW garage: their prices are much more realistic, and strangely enough their customer service is about 100 times better.
Ok it’s less frilly than the BMW place, you have to drive there and collect your car yourself, but they are extremely professional, pleasant and helpful.
A real find.
