Alan Treharne has been living in the UK since 1976 he was born in South Africa. His studies in Oriental Medicine began in 1981 and he trained in England, Mainland China and the United States. He has studied Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Currently he works in private practice and lectures in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. He has had vast experience in treating a variety of complaints such as dermatology, gynaecology, headaches and migraines, digestive disorders, gastrointestinal, urogenital, muscular skeletal, neurological and reproductive disorders.

I have been practising Chinese medicine for 25 years and have experience in treating a wide range of conditions with both acupuncture and herbs.
