Well worth the visit! Good combo plates until 4pm. Sat just inside the door, and there was clot of activity. A very popular place, and the reason is it is really good food. A meze plate and a Schwarma mix plate go for around £30 and could easily feed 4.

Al Arez was definitely one of my favorite meals of my recent London trip. We sat upstairs in the more formal dining area, which was definitely bustling on a weekday night. There were lots of interesting-sounding things to try, so we were juggling lots of different scenarios. Our waitress, Iris, was very sweet and attentive overall, and she had the brilliant suggestion of doing a sampler for two plus one extra dish for the four of us. We were a little incredulous at first, but this was by far the best idea. Everything we got was delicious, and there was definitely enough food for all of us. Our meal included hummus, stuffed grape leaves, falafel, lamb shawarma, kibbeh, and awesome baklava. Even though we were in a posh area, the value for the amount and quality of the food was got was definitely top notch. I definitely recommend that you check this spot out. You’re in good hands!

We stumbled across this place, mostly thanks to Unilocal(and after we walked past it, we had to come back… the shwarma cooking looked so good). It was amazing! One of the best places I’ve eaten in the U.K. and some of the best Lebanese food I’ve had in a long time. We couldn’t help ourselves and ordered a whole smörgåsbord of mezze and other dishes. I don’t think you can go wrong here. The falafel was amazing. The feta salad was great. The hummus and eggplant dip were excellent. The lamb shwarma was delicious. I love that they bring you out garlic aoili, olives and peppers, and hot dipping sauce with all meals! Of course, we over-ordered, so had to take a bunch home with us! Made for great leftovers too. Tip: There is lots more seating upstairs. This place is kid/family friendly(you can leave your stroller on the 1st floor). My only complaint was that service was a little slow/disjointed. This place is excellent value; you won’t leave hungry!

Decisions where to eat instead of a £20 small pizza in Harrods so found this authentic Lebanese restaurant just along the street for a quick meal. Food was amazing, halloumi cheese and a mixed grill at the same time was more than enough for my wife and I with left overs. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone, my first time trying Lebanese food and I totally loved it!

Very tasty! There was a red sauce which was delicious. The hummus was delicious, we ordered the spicy one. Then there was an aubergine salad which was so refreshing, with pomegranate seeds and all. But yeah, delicious.

This place is awesome. I stumbled in here one day for lunch while I was out exploring the London sites and waiting to meet up with someone. Ordered lamb shawarma and it came perfectly marinated and topped with spices, served over delicious hummus. The food came quickly, the portion was enormous, and I left STUFFED full of shawarma, hummus, and pickles and olives that they put out when you sit down(had I known how big the entrees were I probably would have refrained from gorging myself on olives).

If you want great Lebanese food, excellent prices and always want to receive an excellent friendly service then you need to visit Al Arez. The food is amazing, I have been going here for years and always want to go back. The service is excellent and you are never left waiting. The food is of great quality(wonderful lamb and chicken). It’s a small restaurant but it caters to its clients very well. Love it!

While the indoor dining was kind of cramped, and the outdoor dining was full of people smoking(they had a selection of flavored tobaccos available), the shawarma here is amaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area. Conveniently across from Harrods.

1 thing here and 1 thing only… LAMBSHAWARMA with chilli sauce Takeaway prices: £5 for a large, £3.25 for a regular Okay, so they do a whole lot of other things but if you’ve found the best takeaway lunch in the whole Knightsbridge and Kensington area then why ever order anything else? The staff are fast and friendly and word of these shawarmas has spread so quick around my work that these staff are beginning to know us by face too. Confession: last week I had lamb shawarma for lunch 4 times. They’re just so good. Please say they’re healthy… right?

My wife and I ate here several times on our recent trip to London and we just cannot say enough good things about it. We were only in the area for about a week, but after dropping in on day 2 for lunch we went back several times – once with the whole family and again on our last night in town. We tried a variety of dishes and everything was outstanding. We were particularly fond of the lamb shawarma and the mixed shawarma. The spicy Lebanese salad was amazing as well, as were all of the appetizers we tried. Just outstanding. Finally, I have to comment on the baklawa. Outstanding. Absolutely the best baklawa I have ever had anywhere. Amazing stuff. I also want to comment on the service, which was outstanding on each visit. Food was brought out quickly and our drinks were never empty. The staff generally seemed to appreciate our business and quickly identified us as repeat customers. Excellent! They were especially patient and tolerant on the night the whole family came, answering questions from those who had never had Lebanese food before. They even serve a bowl of chips, which our 10 year old nephew ordered(his parents figured it was all he would eat until he discovered a love for one of the chicken dishes). This was a great find and we are already looking forward to our next London trip so we can stop in and eat here again. And again!
