A good, honest, fairly priced hotel. Pros: * Ability to book online * Lovely converted old house * Warm welcome. Nice housekeeping staff, too. Much more respectful than every other London hotel I’ve stayed in! * Guest lounge * Patio garden * Breakfast included in room rates * Tea and coffee making facilities * Good phone signal on top floor * Free WiFi in communal areas * Quiet location * Short walk to Ealing Broadway, the mall, the common, and several lovely green spaces * Nice firm bed. * Good size room for a small double * Clean bed linen and towels * Plentiful plug sockets * Shaver/electric toothbrush socket in bathroom * Hand wash and shower gel provided * Plentiful storage * Reading lamps * Nice heavy curtains to ensure a good night’s sleep. * Central heating to keep one cosy in the autumn/winter. * Alarm clock provided if needed. * Splendid, enormous blankets for extra cosiness *Real key for room! None of those plastic cards that always end up breaking! * PETS allowed on request!!! Cons: * Creaky floorboards. I actually quite like them but if I were in the room below me, it would probably get on my nerves. * Doors to other suites slam and reverberate into your room. Not too intolerable though. * Thin walls with little sound insulation(not a problem unless you have some inconsiderate guests). * The bathroom in my room was basic. Totally clean functional but I’m sure some people would moan about it not being perfect.
