A Most Curious Party is a hire and styling service specialising in vintage and vintage style decorations, props, crockery and other objet d’art for events such as weddings, afternoons tea parties, birthdays, hen do-​s, Christenings and baby showers. Even corporate events and photoshoots, any event that needs a little vintage charm.

Items have been collected by vintage enthusiast Rebecca Hoh-​Hale who has searched them out to style her own wedding last year and has just kept on collecting! Items include tea cups and saucers, cake stands, tea pots, sugar bowls and milk jugs, enough for parties up to 120 and bunting, tablecloths, birdcages, frames, wallpaper backgrounds and much more.

A Most Curious Party can also offer a tea and cake stand, with homemade cakes and tea served on the vintage crockery, complete with waitresses in vintage dress.

History

Established in 2009.

A Most Curious Party was set up in March 2009 as a result of founder and vintage-​lover Rebecca Hoh-​Hale searching high and low for a supplier of vintage crockery, decorations and props for her wedding in 2008. She was looking for someone who had a passion for vintage and who charged realistic prices, but to no avail.

So, she start collecting her own range for the wedding and once she has a rest from all the organising began hires this (and everything else she has collected since!) out to other brides and all sorts of events such as corporate, birthdays, Christenings, baby showers, hen-​dos and general merriment with a vintage twist.

Things have gone from strength to strength, A Most Curious Party has received much press coverage such as BBC Homes and Antiques, Wedding and Wedding Ideas. The team also provide a cake and tea stand for events and parties, all served on vintage crockery with gorgeous waitresses in vintage dress.

Business Owner

Rebecca is 28 years old and loves all things vintage from Victoriana to the 1950s.

I love music from those eras as well as punk rock and Kings of Leon ALOT.

I like to wear vintage and vintage style clothes and curling my hair into a pin-​up fringe.

I’m married to a lovely man, who puts up with a house full of an abundance of tea sets and my constant and un-​ending search for new stock. We live together in East London
